Students who are enrolled at the University of Utah and have attained grades ranging from A-E on Advanced Subsidiary (AS) or Advanced (A) level examinations may be eligible to receive up to:

• 8 transfer credits for each A level examination
• 4 transfer credits for each AS level examination

Test results must be submitted directly to the Office of Admissions by Cambridge International Education, Pearson/Edexcel or other relevant testing entities.

**Please Note

• We will not accept unofficial scores. To process credits for these examinations, we require a copy of the final results directly from the respective testing provider, which typically includes Cambridge, AQA, or Oxford. We will also not take examination results off of school issued transcripts as we must receive the official examination results from the testing provider.
• Duplicate credits will not be granted for students who have taken both an AS and A level examination in the same subject. In this instance, only the A level exam will receive credit.
• A and AS level exams are posted only if the U offers a course that is equivalent.
• The posting of A level and AS credit is a manual process that may take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete after the official scores have been received by the Office of Admissions.
