The Common Application for Fall 2024 closes on
July 27. Prospective freshmen may begin applying for 2025 entry terms on August 1.

Please note that applications submitted in early August cannot be accessed by the University of Utah until mid-August.

International Freshman

You have not previously enrolled in a regionally accredited college or university, or you have only enrolled in college courses prior to high school graduation.

Students who graduated from an Utah high school can select either the Beehive Application of the Common Application button below. Students who graduated from high school outside of Utah, use the “Common Application” button.

International Transfer

Transfer applicants who have already attended any post-secondary institution (college or university).

International Graduate

Graduate applicants who are completing or have completed the equivalent of a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree and are interested in pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree.

International Returning

Returning students are those who were previously enrolled in courses at the University of Utah but discontinued enrollment without completing a bachelor’s degree.

International Second Bachelor's

Second bachelor’s students are those who have completed a bachelor’s degree from any regionally accredited college or university, including the University of Utah, and wish to earn another bachelor’s degree in a different field of study.
