  • Getting to Campus and Parking

    Location: Admissions Emma Eccles Jones Welcome Center

    We’ll start our tour at Gardner Commons, the home of the Emma Eccles Jones Welcome Center. The nearest parking lot is the Union Visitor Lot and costs $2.00/hour. Visitors to campus should plan on the tour taking three hours. Make sure you pay at the blue kiosks on the western edge of the lot before coming to the Welcome Center.

    Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour starts to park and make your way to the Welcome Center.

    There are a few ways to reach the Union Visitor Lot, which is located directly east of the Welcome Center.

  • Your Time With Us

    Dress in a way that is comfortable and suited to the weather (it’s always exciting)Please note that tours will be offered in all weather conditions (with the rare exception of severe/dangerous weather).

    Wear comfortable walking shoes as our walking campus tour is two hours long. The University is located in the beautiful foothills of the Wasatch Mountains, making our campus tour #LegDay, but don’t worry. Each day over 30,000 students traverse our scenic campus.

    If anyone in your group needs ADA accommodations, please do not hesitate to call and/or email us in order to request a service. A request for accommodation can be made by calling (801) 581-8761, option 1, or emailing Reasonable prior notice is required.

  • After the Tour:

    Interested in learning more about the over 100 degrees offered by the University? We strongly encourage you to book an appointment with an academic counselor before arriving on campus so that our staff can best prepare for you. We suggest taking at least a 30-minute break between the Campus Tour and meeting with an advisor to accommodate travel. The 10 AM tour ends at 12:30 PM and the 1:30 PM tour ends at 4:00 PM. Please plan accordingly if you choose to visit with an academic advisor.
