International Freshman Admissions Process

Freshman applicants to the University of Utah are students who have not attended another college or university. The majority of freshman applicants will be applying directly from secondary school (high school). Students who have taken AP, IB, or A-level coursework for which they may receive college credit, will still apply as a freshman as long as they have not enrolled in another college or university.

Update: Our Spring 2019 and Summer 2019 applications are now closed. We are accepting new applications for Fall 2019.

**Please note that if you are applying for the Fall 2019 semester, are currently located outside of the United States, and are seeking a F1 student visa, we cannot guarantee we will be able to issue an I-20 Certificate of Eligibility if your application and immigration materials were not submitted before June 1st, 2019. Any applications and immigration documents submitted after June 1st 2019 will be considered on an individual basis.
