Visit Campus

Campus Tour

We invite you and your family to experience the University of Utah in person. This is an excellent way to discover all the opportunities available to you and check the "fit" between you and the University. A personal visit gives you insight to the University by interacting with students, faculty, and staff, and allows you to check out our facilities first hand.

Campus Visit Agenda

A typical two-hour campus visit includes:

  • Walking Campus Tour with a University Ambassador.
    • Guests will see history, state of the art technology, classrooms, camaraderie among students, how the campus is evolving, etc.
  • Housing Tour to explore where you can live.
  • Information session with an Admissions Counselor.

Staying Overnight?

If you plan to stay overnight in Salt Lake City, we recommend the University Guest House on the University of Utah's campus. The University Guest House offers wonderful accommodations at a reasonable price. It's also minutes from the Office of Admissions, the TRAX line, and many campus activities. Find additional locations close to campus.
