2. Pay the application fee

The non-refundable application fee for domestic students is $45. (An additional $30 late fee will be required after the deadline.)  Please do not send cash.

3. Have your transcripts sent to the Office of Admissions

An official high school transcript (and/or any college transcripts) must be sent to the Office of Admissions directly from the school. Your high school counselor can help you with this process, either by sending paper copies or electronic transcripts. Paper transcripts should be mailed to The Office of Admissions, 201 South 1460 East, Room 250S, Salt Lake City, Utah 84112. The University of Utah accepts official electronic transcripts from the following agencies only: Docufide by Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, eScrip-Safe and AVOW. Please have them send the electronic transcript to admisstranscripts@sa.utah.edu.

4. Have your ACT (or SAT) scores sent to the Office of Admissions

ACT scores or the combined SAT Critical Reading and Math scores must be sent by the testing company. You can request that your scores be sent to the University of Utah using these Test Code Numbers: 4274 for the ACT, and 4853 for the SAT. (You may take the Residual ACT through the University of Utah Testing Center, but these scores are only valid at the University of Utah.)

5. Track your status online

Once we receive your application, fee, and above documentation, we will begin processing. Track your status online. Admission decisions are released on January 7, March 1, and April 15. Admission decisions will be mailed.
