The University of Utah is home to ground-breaking research, small class sizes, great mentorship and networking opportunities, and hands-on learning that prepares you for your career after graduation. All of these resources make the University of Utah a great place for transfer students!
We invite you and your family to see for yourself how the University of Utah can help you reach your academic and professional goals. Join us on select Thursdays for U Transfer Visits, a unique visit opportunity designed just for students interested in transferring to the U from another higher education institution.
U Transfer Visits typically last two and a half hours and include an information session led by an Admissions Counselor (geared towards important aspects of transferring to the U), followed by a general advising session hosted by the Transfer Center. Your visit will conclude with a tour of lower campus, guided by a University Ambassador.
Below are the available U Transfer Visit dates for Spring 2018.
February 1 & 15 | March 1, 15 & 29 | April 12 & 26 | May 10 & 24

Can't make it to any of the available tours? More dates will be released later in the year, so check back often! There are also other great opportunities to visit the U's campus throughout the year, including daily campus tours, offered every week day and on select Saturdays.
Important: It is strongly recommended that you avoid making any flight or travel arrangements until you have received a confirmation of your tour reservation via email.
Questions?Find your Admissions Counselor and get assistance with questions you have regarding the U.
Please note: Attending a U Transfer Visit does not take the place of mandatory New Student Orientation for admitted transfer students.
The transfer-specific tour does not include student housing. Please contact Housing and Residential Education if you'd like to see residence halls. Lower campus houses the majority of our academic buildings and student support offices.
