You and your family are invited to experience the University of Utah and see for yourself everything waiting for you. On select Tuesdays, we'll host a campus visit designed to provide information applicable to transfer students.
Important note: This visit does not excuse, nor take the place of, your mandatory new student orientation. You must attend orientation after being admitted and before your first semester at the U.
Your visit will last about two hours and begins with an information session led by an Admissions Counselor dedicated to answering the common questions unique to transfer students, including the transfer process, application deadlines, and scholarships. You'll then join a University Ambassador for a walking tour of lower campus to see your future home. At 3:00 pm, you'll wrap up your visit with a general advising presentation from the Transfer Center. The Transfer Center's advising can help you transfer to the U and lay the ground work for graduation.
Student support doesn't stop in the classroom. While you're on campus, make sure to visit different support services at the U like the Center for Child Care and Family Resources (provide childcare options on and off campus), the Veterans Support Center, Career Services, and more. See more student services on our transfer student resources page.
