We believe in creating communities on campus for students to engage with each other. Over 600 groups at the University of Utah provide students with a place to meet with others who share their interests, cultural background, religious beliefs, activities, and more. The University of Utah helps support groups for students from all over the world, making sure you are never feel alone on campus.


Hear the roar of the crowd and feel the rush of excitement! The University of Utah Athletic Program is proud to be part of the prestigious Pacific-12 Athletic Conference . Called "The Conference of Champions," the Pac-12 is one of the premiere collegiate athletic conferences in the United States. The University of Utah fields a variety of top-level men's and women's teams that include American football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and more.


One of the defining parts of being a student at the University of Utah is joining The MUSS (Might Utah Student Section). The MUSS is one of the most well known college student sections in the United States! In The Muss you will join thousands of students at football and basketball games to cheer on your University of Utah Utes. This is one experience you won't want to miss out on!


Throughout the academic school year, the University of Utah frequently hosts a number of events for students on campus. Popular events like Redfest, Crimson Nights, and the Grand Kerfuffle, showcase popular musical artists from around the country. Other events include theatrical performances in Kingsbury Hall, orchestral concerts at Gardner Hall, art galleries at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, recruiting fairs, guest lectureres, holiday celebrations, and much more. The University of Utah employs thousands of students in part-time jobs to help them pay for school and living expenses.
