When did you start at the U:

September 2015

Most memorable college class:

When I was in graduate school, I had the opportunity to take two play therapy courses. I loved these courses because I was able to use the power of play to help children better understand themselves and their world. Plus, I got to play with blocks and play-dough during class!

Best part of your job's location:

I love the Mountain views in Salt Lake City. I will always be amazed by their beauty and majesty.

Favorite Salt Lake restaurant:

The Pie Pizzeria

Best part of your job:

Helping all students understand that college is possible and their goals are achievable is the most rewarding aspect of any job within higher education.

Tips for college:

GO TO CLASS! Skipping class is the number one way to fail a course. Resist the urge to stay in bed or catch an afternoon nap and go to class; it will make a difference. If you can, take a study abroad trip. My biggest regret from college is not taking advantage of study abroad. With all your learning, don't forget to have fun!

Favorite quote:

"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." - Walt Disney

What do you do in your free time:

I enjoy watching television (maybe a little too much)! Some of my favorite shows include Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Bones, Criminal Minds, and Survivor.
