When did you start working for the Office of Admissions:

September 2015

Favorite Ute memory:

Living in the residence halls. I learned so much and made some of my best friends and favorite memories there.

Most memorable college class:

Honors Intellectual Traditions from Mark Matheson. I loved it so much that I ended up taking two more classes from him, which eventually led to my English degree.

Favorite Salt Lake restaurant:

Ruth's Diner will always hold a special place in my heart. Brunch on the patio is the first sign of spring!

Favorite spot on campus:

The Legacy Bridge at sunset.

Tips for college:

Get involved, get involved, get involved. You have to pay student fees anyway, so take advantage of all the cool and cheap/free opportunities on campus!

Favorite U of U fact: In 1970, University of Utah students protested the U.S. invasion of Cambodia and the deaths of four students at Kent State University by rallying outside of the Union and later occupying the Park building. It's rumored that the present hilly landscaping in the Free Speech Area was put in place to prevent future protests. I love that our student body has a history of speaking out, standing up for what we believe in, and generally causing a ruckus.

Weird or hidden talents:

My friends say I smell like cookies.
